Candice and David are college sweethearts who made Los Angeles their home for the last 15 years before recently trading the beaches of California for the mountains and changing seasons of Colorado. After almost a year of lockdown and working from home, they were looking for a city that embodied “clean and green,” had a strong sense of community, and would be an ideal place to raise their two-year-old twin daughters, Tessa and Lila. Denver checked off nearly every box, and so their virtual search began.
The couple reached out to our team for assistance with their search after being impressed with our online reviews, Elizabeth, who they described as a "Godsend," served as their proverbial eyes and ears while they conducted their search from afar. In a very tight and chaotic housing market that required many last-minute day trips from LA, Elizabeth helped them find a wonderful house in their ideal neighborhood of Wash. Park, serving as an advocate throughout the entire transaction (and even after closing). They could not have been happier with the results.
David is a partner in a private banking practice while Candice stays at home with their very active and opinionated girls. They love their new neighborhood, and Lila and Tessa especially look forward to their nearly daily walk to the Wash Park playground. The girls are also excited to build their first snowman this winter.
They welcome any and all recommendations (restaurants, hiking trails, nursery schools, even a good dentist – you name it!) as they continue to explore their new adopted city--let us know if you'd like to pass any recommendations along!
Welcome to Denver, David, Candice, Lila, and Tessa!
