We LOVE when a move to Denver leads to a new LOVE story!
Brittany arrived in Denver back in 2016 to pursue her graduate degree in clinical mental health, focusing on at-risk youth. HaoWei, a college classmate of David's, came to Denver in 2017 to pursue a new business opportunity and to get off the road after traveling for several years as a consultant. Each moved to Denver to start up the next chapter of their lives, and in 2018 a first-date quickly turned into falling in love as HaoWei and Brittany bonded over their Texas roots, experiences living abroad in China, and the new and exciting foods around Denver.
COVID threw a wrench into their 2020 plans, but both HaoWei and Brittany were able to make this past year a true milestone year nonetheless. They decided that it was finally time to say goodbye to their downtown loft rental, and Tom and David helped them navigate the waters of becoming first time homeowners. They purchased a new construction townhouse right by the Perry Street Light Rail Station, where they now live with their kitty August.
While the pandemic may have canceled their original wedding plans, they decided to elope in the fall--and this February, in lieu of a large wedding gathering over Chinese New Year, they held a beautiful private celebration with their immediate family in the Colorado mountains!
