Lauren and Damir met through friends in Chicago, and came to Colorado together to pursue new careers and set down roots in a place they felt they could call home. They fell in love with the boundless sunshine and fresh air, and found comfort in the outdoors–especially during the turbulent early days of the pandemic. From there, they both followed their passions: Lauren became an elementary school teacher working at an incredible school in Aurora, and Damir entered into the sustainability industry as a Product Manager.
As time passed, it became increasingly clear that Denver was the “right fit” for them, and they knew they wanted to find a place here that they could truly call home. That’s when the couple reached out to the Schlichter Team to find their dream home. They began their search at the beginning of the year during the extreme spring market, with Jen guiding them through bidding wars, low inventory levels, and the other competitive aspects of the market at the time. In spite of the challenging environment for buyers, Lauren and Damir remained persistent and found the perfect home in Park Hill for them and their dog, Gabe.
