Denver Home Inventory Levels Reach Record Lows, Sellers Needed

Usually December and January are the two slowest months of the year, but there has never before been a January like the one we just experienced.  Inventory levels have been exceptionally low for the last several years, and yet we started this year with less than half(!) the number of homes for sale compared to the start of last year.  This year's inventory levels in January were approximately one-tenth of the inventory from the same time a decade ago!

As a result of the lack of inventory and pent-up buyer demand, our clients experienced lots of bidding wars in January.  We are hopeful that, as the year progresses, more sellers will realize that the market conditions are exceptional, list their homes, and ease some of the pressure on our buyer clients.
