Right now is a significant moment of opportunity for people who are considering buying a home in the Denver metro area.
The number of homes for sale is up 31.4% year-over-year in the metro area, but pending listings are only up 3.6%. In other words, the number of homes that are coming on the market (and staying on the market) is much greater than the number of buyers who are ready to buy them. When interest rates begin to come down, we do expect the market to get much more competitive for buyers, so now (yes, right now!) is a great time to get out and see homes if you've been thinking about making a move in 2024!
