The affordability, urban character and eclectic architecture made the area appealing to young bohemians, which led to a gentrification period in the 2000s. Today Capitol Hill is home to many condo buildings, from modern high rises to historic walk-ups, and turn-of-the-century homes. Cap Hill offers countless restaurants, bars, cafes, stores, nightclubs, and museums, meaning that there is always something going on. From live music and food trucks at Civic Center Park to the Molly Brown House Museum, the neighborhood is a great place to explore on foot or bike with everything being just blocks away from each other.
